Judge Orders School to Restore Charlie Brown Christmas Decorations

By Todd Starnes December 15, 2016 A Texas school district learned a very important lesson Thursday: don’t mess with the Baby Jesus and don’t mess with the Lone Star State’s Merry Christmas law. Judge Jack Jones issued a temporary restraining order against the Killeen Independent School District. The district had backed a principal’s decision to remove a Christmas poster that referenced a poignant scene in the beloved holiday cartoon, “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Dedra Shannon, an aide in Patterson Middle School’s nurses office, created the door-length poster - featuring Linus, a scrawny tree, and dialogue explaining the true meaning of Christmas.

Prince Failed in Life and in Death!

Posted by Don Boys on June 2, 2016 I expect to be misunderstood, misquoted, and maligned but here is my take on Prince whose death was just confirmed to be caused by a drug overdose. In full disclosure, I am not a fan of any of the popular music blaring everywhere today. I have not liked any popular music since Perry Como and Nat King Cole died. I do not know music but I do enjoy Christian music, classical music, polkas, marches, and an occasional folk tune. Like a school girl toward the football star, major media people gushed over Prince in their showers of praise toward a man who did not deserve such praise. According to everyone, he could play the guitar but what I’ve heard was only two steps....
